The newest Parisian playground that most tourists haven't discovered yet
Our former Mayor, Bertrand Delanoe, hates cars. He instituted bike and bus lanes, bike and car electric car sharing systems and, as his last I-hate-cars action, he turned a huge swath of highway into a big pedestrian area: the Berges de Seine.
Bars, games, art, expositions, resting areas, it’s all fun and no carbon monoxide. From the Musee d'Orsay all the way to the Alexander the 3rd bridge, there’s a little bit of something for everybody.
Come for a pic nic, or have a drink at one of the trendiest bars in Paris, the Rosa Bonheur. Walk around and enjoy!
